Writing from a different location is always so much more fun! I’m spending the weekend in Orlando for the Public Relations Student Society of America’s National Conference. The 2 plus hour flight gave me plenty of time to formulate characters in my mind. I got two pages written while on the plane. I feel the weight of having not written for awhile already lifting from my body.
Maybe this trip will be good for my characters too, they’ve been falling a tad flat lately.
In addition to a busy week of getting homework and papers done before leaving, I also had the chance to interview a real published author. His name is Christopher Miller and he’s the published author of two fiction novels, The Cardboard Universe and Sudden Noises from Inanimate Objects.
It was a pleasure to interview Mr. Miller, and I look forward to reading more fiction from him in the future.
His answers gave me a lot of insight onto what it takes to be a writer and how to get published. So thank you Mr. Miller for the interview.
I hope you enjoy the interview as well, you can listen to that here, as my very first podcast:
It was a blast to put together, so I hope my readers get as much enjoyment out of it too.
See You All Soon,
